John Aaron Frank's interdisciplinary practice encompasses a range of mediums and experimental techniques. For UPSTATE ART WEEKEND, Frank presents a monumental gilded linguistic sculpture on our Great Lawn accompanied by oil paintings that reflect recurring themes in his work of communication, perception, and the passage of time.
John Aaron Frank (b. 1985, Cleveland, OH) attended The Cooper Union and is currently based in NYC. Works are available through Galerie Ground in Los Angeles and New York, and Galerie Lange + Pult in Zurich, Switzerland.
